Heartillery and Hero Heart join forces to create Hero Heart Collection care packages

FOXBORO – Hero Heart Collection is hosting a care package packing event for troops from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 29 at the Foxboro American Legion.

Hero Helpers of America joined forces with Heartillery Group to create Hero Heart Collection. They are hoping to prepare more than 500 care packages to be sent overseas at the June event.

The two non-profits have asked volunteers to bring items for the packages, help assemble them and create cards and decorate boxes. The public can also help defer the cost of postage by sponsoring a package for $15.

Hero Helpers of America, Inc., is a non-profit that provides support to active duty, reservists and veterans of the military and their families.
