The Hero Heart Packing Party

Hero Helpers of America and Heartillery Group joined together to create an epic packing party. Together the team and numerous volunteers put together over 500 care packages and 100,000 cards that were sent to numerous bases in Afghanistan and bases in the United States.

Avon VFW Welcomes Home Soliders of the 532nd PMT Brockton, MA

General Michael Mann, Brockton Mayor Bill Carpenter to attend as Patriot Guard Riders escort soldiers from Brockton to Avon VFW in a Welcome Home Ride

The soldiers of US Army’s 532nd PMT received a welcome home celebration on Saturday, March 29th 2014 at the Avon VFW located 263 East Main St., Avon, MA. Soldiers met in formation at the Corporal Craig United States Army Reserve Center located at 915 West Chestnut St., Brockton, MA 02301 at 12:30pm. The Brockton Police and the Patriot Guard Riders provide a motorcycle escort from this location and slowly rode through the residential streets to the Avon Veterans of Foreign War (VFW) Post through the VFW Drive entrance. The Deployment Support Commanding General, General Michael Mann, his wife as well as Brockton’s Mayor, Bill Carpenter attended alongside the military families when 532nd PMT motorcade arrives in Avon. Emily Spender, the 532nd PMT’s Family Readiness Group Leader and wife to 1LT Scott Spencer, rallied local businesses to support and sponsor the entire day’s celebration. More coverage and photos…
