Homeless Female Veterans Drive

September 2021

Mission Complete

Achieved: 50 Homeless Veteran Women’s Needs Were Fulfilled with Care Packages

US Health Advisors and Heartillery are bringing the issue of female veteran homelessness to the forefront to find ways to support these women in need. Female veterans are the fastest growing demographic among the homeless population in the United States and face a double hurdle of distance and invisibility in getting the health services they need from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

With your help, we packed, shipped, and delivered 50 care packages containing essential items for distribution to homeless female veterans. We also raised awareness for this important issue.  Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, or volunteered to help.
